Installing Required JARs in the Local Maven Repository

This guide provides the steps to manually install the required JAR files into your local Maven repository using the mvn install:install-file command.

Prerequisites

1. Ensure that you have Apache Maven installed and properly configured in your system.
2. Verify that the JAR files listed below are available in the specified paths.

Installation Steps

Run the following commands in your terminal to install each JAR file into your local Maven repository:

mvn install:install-file -Dfile=../MWDAO/target/MWDAO-1.0.jar -DgroupId=mwdao -DartifactId=mwdao -Dversion=1.0 -Dpackaging=jar
mvn install:install-file -Dfile=../SharedLib/com.ibm.websphere.appserver.api.basics-1.2.15.jar -DgroupId=com.ibm.websphere -DartifactId=appserver.api.basics -Dversion=1.2.15 -Dpackaging=jar
